Hey,

I have a question, i am with a company which has a branch in Canada and they are providing me a job there in Canada. So, through IntraCompanyTransfer, Can i apply for PR or should i get work visa first? Could you please give information as what options do i have in this scenario. Thank you.

Moving to Canada via intracompany transfer has many benefits, and I'd say you are very fortunate to have this opportunity.
Your company is making the effort to transfer you, which is already a sign for the Canadian government that your skills are valuable for the company, otherwise they wouldn't offer the transfer.
Intracompany transfers require your company to do the legwork, and file the papers (which is a huge bonus, because their legal team will have to make sure that everything is fine with the documents), the whole process should only take approx. 3 months, and intracompany transfers are LMIA exempt.
You'll probably get a temporary work permit to start with (for 1-2 years, renewable up to 4 or 5 years) tied to your company and to the province where your office is (this is fairly standard). In my opinion, your company would also support you with your PR application process once you've worked for them in Canada for 1-2 years - presumably they'd want to keep you as an employee after they'd gone through the 'trouble' of transferring you thus investing in you for the future.
They might not pay your PR application costs, but in all likelihood, they'd help with the paperwork, and at least you'd be financially secure in Canada, with a job, a salary, and continuous work experience, when you do apply for PR a few years later.

Naturally, you can choose to apply for PR on your own from outside Canada, but to be honest, the intracompany transfer sounds like a pretty good idea, so if they're offering, why wouldn't you accept your company's help? Think about the long term benefits.
I'm sure many people on this forum would take such an offer in a heartbeat.
