Interview to prove adopted son - parent relationship

Hi, This is Jasmeen, I am a provincial nominee, I applied to CIC with my adopted son, but recently CIC asked me to face a interview to assess our bona fide relationship. I adopted my nephew legally, i submitted all legal paper according . Now CIC passed my eligibility, criminality and security under the code s15(1) but they put my name in interview event because my child did not passed admissibility criteria.

So have to face interview to establish our relation is genuine . BTW i am a single mother.

Would any friend help me what additional documents i need to accumulate and show during interview.

Please help i am little worried

hi, you need to gather everything you can to prove your relationship. Pictures of you two together, with family, friends, Facebook posts about you too and comments from family and friends, text messages, facebook conversations, tickets of trips together, wedding pictures, support letters from friends and family, Christmas, birthdays,etc cards, family functions pictures, pics of places you've been together such as camping, etc, joint bank account if applicable. Get your friends and family to write you support

The issue is that your adopted child is your nephew. IRCC likely has concerns that it was an "Adoption of Convenience", when people adopt family members just to be able to bring them to Canada. Are his parents still alive? What were the circumstances of the adoption?

Yea dear you are right, I have to prove in the ground of H&C
I am single middle age lady, never married and no chance in future to get family, so i adopted my nephew long before in 2014 when he was two after that in 2016 i applied in Saskatchewan and got nomination both of us. last September i submitted all the additional paper what CIC asked for. According to GCMS note the mention all the paper is ok but they want to assess our relationship again by interview.

Another query, I passed all three criteria ,Medical not started yet, if i fail to establish our bona fide relationship then they may deny his PR, are there chance to effect also my eligibility

You still didnt answer the question as to what were the circumstances behind the adoption? You can't just simply adopt him if his parents are alive and are still capable of supporting him, as that would be seen as an adoption of convenience

Yea his parents are alive, I adopted one of their child because i need to make my family , i tried to adopt form out side but you my patents and family may not accept him normally if his family background was unknown

You are in for a long, difficult battle. IRCC will definitely see this as an adoption of convienience as the parents are alive and have 2 other children.

But genuinely i am take care of him since 2014, According to Muslim law we can take guardianship of any child ,

This is likely to be seen as an Adoption of Convenience. As mentioned above, you have an uphill battle.

It's certainly good that you have taken care of him since 2014 (I assume he is living exclusively with you and not at all living with his biological parents - and that you take care of all of his needs like clothing, food and schooling). What makes your situation complicated is that his biological parents are still alive and you are related to them. This means you typically need to show that the relationship with the biological parents has been completely severed and they play no role in this child's life that may be viewed as parental.
