Interview postponed. How much wait ?

My parents ( aged 55+ ) got their interview invites 2 months ago but since they were not in the country, I had to write to CIC via Webform to postpone their interviews. I did that and got the generic reply that the request was forwarded to the relevant area.

So my question is how long does it take to get the re invites ? Anyone here who faced a similar issue ?

call them to confirm.

based on this forums previous answers it will take 1-3 months for them to get another date also it will depend how your local office move fast or slow.

if you live in GTA Toronto 3 months.

I cannot tell you how long it takes, but I sent a webform and it took six weeks for them to deal with my webform. I got a generic answer but only after 6 weeks did they actually look at it. I would phone them.
