Interview is WAIVED?

Hi All,

I've seen few fellow applicants for TPWs on their timeline, it says that their interview are "waived".
I am just curious how can we tell that our interviews are being waived or will be waived?

My opinion on that is when you submit complete papers, original copies or not questionnable (ex. photocopies are not clear) documents your interview might be waived, on the other hand if some confusion arise or the VO needs to clarify some informations on the papers/documents that you submit you might have personal or phone interview. Might as well, all relevant information should therefore be included in writing with your initial application

i see, so you're saying na, nasa applicant's confidence nalang that he/she is not to have anymore interview?
*kasi I was thinking if there are any ways to check on phone or online as to the visa app status regarding the interview... but your answer is noted as well, thanks buleg

Most of the Canadian Embassies (different countries) website that I've checked online here's their info:

Interview
If a visa officer decides that an interview is necessary, you will be informed and given instructions. Most decisions are taken without an interview. All relevant information should therefore be included in writing with your initial application.

Well, you can also ask xelsabado on SEMI-SKILLED TWP APPLICANTS 2012 thread, his/her application status is "Visa Interview=Waived". I guess she can give you more info
