About 3 weeks ago, I got a request to show up for an interview with an immigration officer (Scarborough). So I had the interview and it ended up being because I failed to add one same day trip I’ve done and they wanted to know why I didn’t add that date. It took me a second to remember what the officer was referring about, but eventually I remembered what happened and explained the officer. She was really sweet and was talking to me with a smile on her face for the whole interview, and honestly, I couldn’t be more lucky with the person I interacted with.
Now, she said that on her side, she was approving my citizenship application, but that I had to wait to finish one last step of my prohibitions, stating that it should be fast since now they have the full information (once again, my fault and I completely understand).
I have been checking the tracker, but nothing has changed. Languages are still showing in progress (she told me she would change to complete since the reason why she delayed my Languages was because she wanted to talk to me), but that shortly the tracker would update and I would get an oath date soon.
My question is, for everyone else who had gone thru the same, how long did it take for you to get oath and tracker updated? I really wanted to get my oath done before my sons birth, but an idea of how long could it take, would help me take my mind of this for a little while longer.
