Interview call post ITA?

I got the ITA and AOR. Now after 3 months of processing I have been asked to give an interview to a visa officer in the embassy. What does this mean? Because very few ppl are invited for interviews.

Can anyone please explain

1 - They sometimes select random people for the interviews.

2 - They would like to know more about: marriage, common law, work experience, or any detail that requires further explanation.
