Interview appointment from the immigration office.

Hello,

I am here to get some help. I have applied for my permanent under family class on spouse case. I have gotten an email taht Vancouver immigration office will contact me for an appointment. Does anybody know how long does it take for them to contact. And the form they contact us in such as email,mail or call.
It’s already been 4 weeks ever since I have received taht email.

Please help me.

Hi, I am in the same boat as you are. I received my letter that Vancouver immigration office will contact me for an interview on October 1st and still haven't heard. I even called Immigration a week and a half ago and they told me it should take about three weeks, but that has passed, so I am getting very antsy over here. I know someone here who got their letter and got the interview request just within a few days after receiving that letter and had their interview yesterday. I was told by immigration that every case is different and have to be patient. I am running low on that....LOL

I have called the immigration too a several times. They said the same thing to me to wait, as there is no way for them to find what is happening with it and check on Vancouver immigration and we can not call them either so we have no other option left than waiting here. Also a friend of mine got it in 10 days. I agree it’s very hard to wait for it, as it’s the last step of the process and it’s taking the longest.

You are not alone. Been waiting since Oct 1st as well. Hoping to hear from Edmonton office this week or next week. Ugh.

I have called immigration so many times but everytime they just say it’s up to Vancouver Immigration now. It’s been a month. Hopefully we all will hear something soon.

It can be anytime, it took me 3 mths to get our interview date and they gave us 30 days notice... so it depends on how busy they are and how many times they do them, if its every week, every month or every 2-3 months. Each VO is different.
