Interview about my permanent residence

Hi All,

I have an interview about my permanent residence..

Did everyone know what questions they will ask ? How long is the interview ?

I applied the visa under family class. My spouse is approved his sponsorhip. and My medical and criminal record is pass.

Pls advice.

They probably don't believe your relationship is "genuine". What that means is that they suspect that you are only in the relationship in order to "gain advantage under the Act" . . . or, to put it bluntly, to get into Canada.

They will ask you questions about your relationship, your partner's work, family, hobbies, plans for the future, etc. They will ask how you met, how you keep in contact, what you'll do if you don't get to come to Canada, etc. They might compare your answers to answers from your partner.

Look at canadianwomens example of questions they asked her husband in his appeal.

They wanted to know such things like what medicines your spouse may take and the names of them. Things like that, very very obscure questions in my view but be prepared for the unusual as well as the usual.

They really want to know that you know the deep personal stuff that only a spouse would know.
