Hi guys, i'm a dentist who graduated in 2011, then spent a 1 year internship ( No paid) to get my license. Now, i'm aware of his this answer on he CIC website ''
Can I count work experience that was part of my education toward the work requirement?
No. Co-op terms and apprenticeships completed before graduating do not count as skilled work experience. They are considered part of an educational program.

The work experience you can use to apply for the Canadian Experience Class must not have been gained while studying full time on a student permit (for example, experience gained while on a co-op work term).''

Thing is: i DID graduate in 2011, and i was not studying during the internship year, BUT it was mandatory for receiving the dental license, i'm torn here. Any takes on the matter ?

Thanks in advance

I assume you are talking about outside of Canada, therefore the info RE in-Canada work experience is not relevant.

Generally, yes, you could use that as foreign work experience. However, as DelPiero pointed out, the experience must be paid to be eligible.
