Internship/Placement valid as Full-Time Work Experience?

Quick question. I'm planning to apply under the CE class. I've completed 22 months of regular full-time work in Canada, plus a full-time placement in the goverment for 3 months. It was part of an educational program, but still it was full-time paid work. Does it count?

Note: The experience must be acquired after you have completed the required study and obtained a Canadian credential (work performed under the Off-Campus Work Permit Program or co-op work terms do not count
