Internship Experience for CEC

Hello everyone,
I'm a bit confused about my internship experience, I need your advice.
I was doing a post-grad course in Canada and in my last semester, I had to complete a co-op work term. I got into a big Canadian company for co-op and successfully completed the work term. Upon co-op completion, the company wanted to hire me full-time but they said they require a work permit for it, they won't offer on implied status. So they offered me another 4-month intern position, said me to apply for my work permit, and when my work permit arrives they will offer me a full-time position.

The timeline is as follows;
Sept 2019 - Dec 2019: Co-op on a study permit
Jan 2020 - Apr 2020: Internship on implied status
Apr 2020 - Current: Full-time worker ( Same role and the same company as Internship)

I was working 37.5 hours/week in my internship (Jan - Apr) and I was also getting paid. At that time I was on implied status.

So my question is, can I include my internship experience (Jan - Apr 2020) towards my CEC experience?

When did you submit your PGWP application? You can start counting your work experience from the time you applied for the PGWP.
