Internship Experience during grad school or after undergrad

I want to know if internship experience counts toward the work experience period.

I'm not asking one that during the college year. But after college, or during the master degree time.
Problem is only 3 months each. It is a job at a commercial bank in the US. I was paid.

Could I include those internship experience?

If I'm not mistaken, they ask for 1 year continuous experience. Paid internships do count, but I've spoken with immigration officers (years back) and they usually use common sense here. Where it was, how you got it, relevancy to your field, etc. As for the time, it has to be continuous, you can't add up 3 months here, 3 months there over an extended period of time... if they are consecutive, they might go for it.
Then again, my opinion might be outdated...
