Internship counted as experience

I graduated from doctor of pharmacy program in Jan. 2017 and got my licence to practice in June 2017. I worked from Jan. 2017 till May 2017 as Intern Pharmacist and from June till now as Licenced pharmacist. Will my internship period will be counted towards Canadian Experience? Kindly advise
