international to domestic student

Hi,
I am planning to apply for an 1 year post certificate diploma in Canada as an international student. Then I might apply for another 1 year post certificate diploma. For this 2nd year my desired course is being offered only for the domestic student. My question is, since I have already completed one year, would I be considered as a domestic student or an international student?

You'll still be an international student. To be classified as a domestic student, you must have either Canadian permanent residency or Canadian citizenship.
