Hello Friends,

Need some suggestion my younger brother is planning to apply for a PR & he have about '2-3' years of experience in Canada as NOC code 2282, do you know if he will be considered for Express Entry or any PNP program if available.

He have completed '4' years of Bachelors in Engineering & 1.5 years of Associate Program in Computer Studies from Canada.

Knowing 500 of 1200 points are from 4 factors: age, language, Canada work experience and education, he should improve score by improving these 4 factors.

Or get PNP-EE stream if available for extra 600 points

Or just go with snail mail PNP if EE isn't an option. (Which is what I did)

Or marry a Canadian. Spousal sponsorship is gonna improve per Liberals platform.

He is not alone, tons of fresh graduate international student in Canada are in the same boat.. like mf4361 said get PNP or marry Canadian Citizen/PR to get permanent status in Canada.. If he is a rare gem he might be lucky enough to get a company that is willing to apply LMIA for him..

LMIA is almost certainly a dead end with current economic situation. How are you suppose to have a job unnoticed and uninterested by Canadians for 1 full month while unemployment rate soars (particularly worse in Alberta & Sask)?

Max score a bachelor degree with 1 year experiences in PGWP can get is 444.

Sask & MB does.
IIRC, AB is paper PNP only & BC & Ont paper PNP has closed. others I don't know.
