Hi. I did this question already but I’m still struggling in understanding some facts.
I’m an international student graduating on May-2020. My study permit expires on Nov-2020.My partner has an OWP also expiring on Nov-2020.
I’ll be applying for the PGWP by May-2020 and I’ll be on implied status for 90-180days.
because I don’t have the Noc 0AB to extend my partner’s OWP he will have to change to visitor’s status unless I got a job in the mentioned categories. The question is when. Before his OWP expires? Means by Oct-2020 or on May 2020 wheN my application for PGWP starts. Its a grey area I don’t understand. Some lawyers are saying his OWP will be valid until Nov2020, so he can still work and he will need to change his visa before that date. Some others said that we need to file both applications at the same time. The importance of these dates is that I’ll be able to find the Noc during the implied status and then he will be able to aply for the extension with my Noc and the 3 paystubs. What you guys think?
