Application Submitted: April 9, 2023
Biometric Collection: April 10,2023
Completed Biometrics: April 13, 2023

After having my biometrics, 3 days later I received a acknowledgment cum tax invoice and after that I was not able to receive any media request or passport request. Is there any time frame to receieve a request or is this a good sign or a bad sign. I’m totally nervous! Please advise!

Processing is 9-10 weeks so all part of the processs. Not a good or bad sign. Hasn’t started eligibility review.

Hello, I need you help. I am a little bit confuse. I’ve done with my medical tests and the result is great. I was able to see “You passed your medical exam”. My question is do I need to apply for a student visa after getting medical or the application that I am processing with now is the Student Visa/Permit? On the IRCC is says IMM 5257 Form which states for Temporary Visa. My aunt kept nagging me to apply or to pay for my Visa and I don’t know what to do next. Please advise!

You applied on April 9 for a study permit.

Oh okay! I’m sorry, a study permit is not a student visa right? I am only applying for a study permit not for a student permit. Am I correct? Or do I need to do something after being able to pass my medical exam?

A visa & permit are the same thing.

After my biometrics on Friday 06/09/2024 I received acknowledgment cum tax invoice that same day please what does it mean
Please if anyone can explain that to me

if you have done biometrics are you still meant to pay for cum tax VISA fee is so or not ??

and what if you are not being given a fee in your cum tax visa fee are still to pay??
