International Student Visa Requirement

Hi everyone,
I want to ask you a few questions regarding this topic.
I arrived on a working holiday visa through IEC on June. As far as I know, I could apply for a Student Visa even with my Open permit still on.

My doubts are:
- Will I keep my open work permit, and I'll be able to work while studying (at least till my work permit expires)?
- When the government of Canada asks for 10,000 for each year. If the program I want to apply is for 2 years, do I have to show I have 20,000? o I'll have to prove that I have 10,000 each year?
- If I work during my 2 years program, will I be able to apply for express entry if I get my 1560 hours in those 2 years?

Just to start a talk, I guess I might have more questions on the go.

I'll help with a few questions:

You'll need to demonstrate that you have $10K (1 year living expenses) + first year tuition.

No - you won't be able to apply for PR after two years. Any work you do while in Canada on a study permit cannot be counted as experience towards any immigration program.

scylla, first of all thanks for your answer.
So any work I do while having a student visa doesn't count. Got it. But right after I graduate I would have to find a job and permit, and that experience would count so after another year I would be able to apply right?

About how much I would have to demonstrate, just $10k + first year tuition? what about when I start my 2nd year? I would have to show the same?
