Hey all,

Been on this journey for a while now, with the end goal being attaining PR/citizenship.
Came here in 2011, graduated from UofT in 2015 with an undergrad degree.

I had a hard time getting a "good" job because of some initial work permit issues, some jobs slipped out of my hands and i ended up taking a Call Centre job at BMO for about 7 months. I quit there, and trust, that job was horrible... but thats another story. I wrote most of my CPA exams and am now going to write the CFE in sept (for all you accountants out there!) and then started working at a good company and have 8 months of eligible work exp.

Although, Ive been keeping up with it and am somewhat well versed with the application process, i feel like im burning out a little and everything still feels so far out of reach. Not sure if it should be like this, so figured id come here and share my story and see whats what. Now that I'm in what I consider the final sprint in the marathon, i feel overwhelmed by all the different things to keep track off and could use all the support I can get!

Guess thats all for me, just wanted to say hi! :)

You're almost there. With a Canadian degree, and four more months of work ex, it'll be a simple process to get your PR. Have you looked into getting your Police Certificates?
