Hi, My name is Majorie. I am an international student in Canada and I will be completing my studies by the end of April. However, my study permit and visa expires in August. I am aware that I can apply for a post-graduate work permit.
What I would like to know is, if it is possible for a family member to sponsor me even thought I am already here as an international student. I have do have an uncle, auntie and a cousin here who have been citizens for over 20 years.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. :D

I assume you are asking about permanent residency. If so, then no - unfortunately your uncle, aunt and cousin cannot sponsor you for PR. In some cases family members can sponsor other family members for PR. Unfortunately your situation does not meet that sponsorship criteria.

You will have to qualify to immigrate on your own.

Not really. Canada does not have anything like that. You'll have to apply for a PGWP and you could be given up to 3 years. After that if you wish to immigrate/get PR you need to apply under express entry.
I wish Canada allowed sponsorship through uncles/aunts, because almost everyone has a Canadian family member living there.

Canada does in fact allow sponsorship through uncles and aunts - but there are additional criteria the sponsor has to meet and most people don't meet this criteria. Specifically, the sponsor must be unmarried and not in a common law relationship, cannot have children, cannot have parents that are still alive, and cannot have any other family members in Canada. This is often referred to as the "lonely Canadian" rule.

So, for example, if you had an uncle in Canada who was single with no children, whose parents were deceased, and who also had no other family members in Canada - that uncle could sponsor you for PR.

The OP does not meet the criteria since her uncle and aunt are obviously married and have a child.

Yes. Unfortunately it's not very common for an uncle/aunt to fall in that category. Most are married with children.
