My girlfriend of 8+ years is an international student in Toronto and I am foreigner who has never been to Canada. Since we do not qualify for common law partner visa, is it possible for me to come to Canada on a tourist visa and marry her? If it is, does that mean I can stay in Canada for as long as her student visa is valid or would I have to leave the country when my tourist visa expire?
