I came to canada in february 2017(admission was for january 2017) and my aunt that sponsored me to come down told me she didnt have the money to send me to school, so i was unable to start school untill september 2018(which i went to a private school and i know i am not eligible for a pgwp) and the admission is till april of 2020. Now, i plan to start a new publicly funded school in september for a diploma program,which is 2years, and i will still have 1year study permit left and i will need an extention for the remaining final year.
my question now is , the fact that i didnt go to school for a year( mind you i did not work at all) , will it affect my study permit extention?
