Hello,

I am looking at getting a IEC working holiday visa to come to Canada next year. However whilst looking at the eligibility criteria on the government website for working holiday visas, its states that I must...

"be a citizen of the United Kingdom and be able to demonstrate habitual residency (i.e. physically living) in the UK for at least three years directly prior to your application to the IEC;"

Now, since 2009 and I have lived in South Korea for 1 year and Brazil for around 15 months and for the majority of the rest of the time I was travelling. I have only spent around 4 months in the UK since 2008.

So, I just wanted to clarify, that this leaves me with absolutely no hope of getting a working holiday visa?

Thanks,

Martin

Correct - you don't qualify.
