So I have this weird question keeps bugging my mind and may be because I don't fully understand the criteria of each class under EE.

Question : If person living outside Canada apply for EE based on recent experience he had while he was in Canada does he qualify for Canadian experience class? If yes does he still need to provide proof of funds, keep in mind that person is not living in Canada has no leagl status or job letter and no canadian bank account.

All answers are welcome but if you can backup your reply with some offical quotes or statement it would be great.

Glad to know that the surgery went well. You are eligible for CEC Class, if you have a Minimum of 1-Year Canadian Experience in the Past 3 Years. Since you are currently not living in Canada and neither you have any legal status, the POF would be mandatory as far as I can see. Since the Government would want you to survive on your own until you can find a job to sustain your livelihood.

Regarding experience I gained 2.5 years with BMO starting June 2014 to Oct 2016 so I assume that would still give me atleast 2 years of experience.
