Dear friends,

Please help....

I applied by paper for my study permit and not include the spouse copy of passport. Because we are from exempt country and we dont need TRV.
My spouse will apply for Open work permit at border..

Is this big mistake? Or they will ask me to send that paper if will be neccessary? Or I need to send them e-mail?

Thank you...

If they require it, they should ask for it but I'm not quite sure on the process, you can try sending an email.

Though you don't need TRV, the checklist says:

photocopy of the information page of your passport if you do not require a TRV which includes:
- the passport number,
- the issuance and expiry dates,
- your photo, name, date and place of birth

You can try sending them an email to ask regarding your wife's passport details.

But how they react on e-mail and documents send later of application?

Confused...
Send an online case specific enquiry: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
