Hello immigration Gurus out there,

Will really appreciate if you could answer my following queries :-

A Little background - I am an H1B holder and I am planning to move permanently to Canada.
Me and my wife are planning to apply for Canadian PR using Express Entry Program . We checked our CRS score and found that if we apply with wife as primary applicant we have scores above 460(Less score if I am Primary)

Q1 : Assuming we apply and get an ITA and PR with her as Primary in that case will I be eligible to work in Canada if I pursue employer for my inter company transfer to Canada once we get PR.

Q2 : If yes above , what formalities we need to do before I can start working in Canada.

Q3 : Can she come back to US after we get PR and I keep working in Canada Full time? She is currently pursuing her studies in US on F1 Visa. She plans to be in US at least for next 1-2 years.

Q4 : What visa I will need if I want to visit her in US from Canada? Assuming its not going to be my employer sponsored visa. Tourist/F2/ Any Canada/US Treaty?

Q5 : Are there any other implications of this arrangement which I should be aware of?

1 - You do not need a work permit once you have PR status.
2 - See #1
3 - Yes.
4 - You'd be a PR not a Canadian citizen, you would need whatever you'd currently need to visit the states.
5 - Nothing comes to mind.

Thanks DelPiero07 for quick response!!

Per your answer to question 1, I understand that as soon as she gets PR , I will be eligible to work in Canada with no formalities required from me or my employer?

As long as you're added as an accompanying spouse in her application you will both get PR. Permanent residents do not require work permits in order to work.
