Hello forum,

I've received a lot of great information through these forums and I hope you can help me out this time.

I've recently received a Provincial/Territorial Interest Letter from Ontario stating that they would like me to apply through their Ontario Express Entry program.

Reading the instructions at first I've found this:

3.5 INTENTION TO RESIDE IN ONTARIO
You are required to declare your intention to reside in Ontario in Section F of the
Nominee Application Form. You must provide a statement of intent stating your
reasons to settle in Ontario and your ties to Ontario.
You may also provide evidence of your ties to Ontario. Ties to Ontario can include
but are not limited to, the following:
 Employment in Ontario;
 Job offers or jobs applied/interviewed for in Ontario;
 Volunteer work in Ontario;
 Lease agreements for a residence in Ontario or property ownership;
 Professional networks and affiliations;
 Family ties;
 Social connections or personal relationships; and/or
 Previous visits to Ontario.
Now my question: As a person with no ties to Ontario, no previous visits or relatives, what could I do to provide enough evidence of my interest of residence?

I'm currently working under NOC - 2132 as a Mechanical Engineer, I also have a MSc. Degree as an Automotive Engineer, which I consider could be an advantage since many automobiles manufacturers are located in Ontario.

Any advice will be deeply appreciated, I'm desperate to find an opportunity to get my residence in Canada and this seems like the best option for me.

Adaptability is only optional...So I would so you shouldn't be worried about that as it is not the requirement for PNP.

However, You can mention how could you fit in Ontario with the current skill set that you have.

Cheers

I received my PT today, about 4 hours ago. Resubmitted my EE Profile in June 16th, 405 CRS.

• Employment in Ontario;
Write the details of your employment, and brag a bit about how you are successful or have a successful employment record.

• Job offers or jobs applied/interviewed for in Ontario;
N/A if you already have a job.
• Volunteer work in Ontario;
Do you have any volunteer work experience? Include that in the letter. Got any letters of acknowledgments? Attach them with your application.

• Lease agreements for a residence in Ontario or property ownership; ?
If you are on a lease, then include that information. Probably a copy of lease too.

• Professional networks and affiliations;
• Family ties;
Mention your family members names.

• Social connections or personal relationships; and/or
Explain if you have any social ties. Discuss how they helped you to settle in Ontario, etx.

Do these has to be signed by authorized personal. For example
No.

Yes, get the signatures from them. Ask them to invite you at their family dinners and parties, and have your pictures taken with them and attach those with your application. Have a video recorded in which they are all pointing at you and saying THEY ARE YOUR PROFESSIONAL CONTACTS. Note down their cars' licence plate numbers, and include them in your application. What about their hair samples for DNA tests? Sure. :p :p :p :p :p :p Just a little humor. :) :) :) This is just for fun, don't get offended people out there.

I would say just include their names and occupation and their contact information - as we do in the references section of the resume. If the Case processing officer really want more information about you, they can simply call/ email to your contacts to find out more about you.

My son is an Canadian Citizen so can i explain it as Family ties
Yes. This is a positive point for you.
Please suggest...

Thanks and Regds

If somebody fulfill the criteria for Provincial Nomination in Ontario but have no real ties in Ontario, will it be the sole reason for rejection of PN? can any body share the link for sample letter to prove ties in Ontario?

If I have some colleagues and friends residing in Ontario, what kind of proof should i present in my letter? Please guide.

I don't think so they will reject your application if you don't have any ties to Ontario. If you can't prove any ties to Ontario, then you will have to be bit proactive. For example, how you can fill the shortages in the Ontario Labour Market through your employment experience and academic background. You can also say stuff like, you are really sociable person and will have better chances to dissolve in Ontario society. If you have some volunteer experience, you can show that you will continue to volunteer when you come to Ontario. To prove this, you can search a few organizations and say why you would be interested in volunteering for them. If you have property back home, you can say I will invest in the real estate market by purchasing a house in Ontario.

You can also do some researching on google on things like "success factors for immigrants in Canada" and apply them to yourself in the letter.

Hope this helps :)
