Intent to Move to Canada

Hi all,

We sent our paperwork off on Friday (HOOOORAAAYYY!!!) but are panicking a little now. We don't have much in the way of proof of our intent to move. We want to move in January or so, and to take a month or two to stay with my parents, relax and come down after life in London and get our plans together (including interview for jobs and choose a town to live in) for the future. As such, we don't have job offers or mortgages or anything to prove our intent.

I sent a letter from my employer confirming my termination of employment in order to move to Canada (they have known for a while and asked me to extend my contract for a few months before we leave, so they testified to all that) and a letter of hospitality from my parents. Is that going to be enough proof of intent? If not, does anyone have any other creative ways to prove intent?

We were going to book flights but because we've submitted our paperwork so late, we don't want to risk wasting the money without knowing the outcome...

Your thoughts are much appreciated.

That should work. Sounds very much like our case and we got sponsorship approved in 30 days.
