Please i wish to ask about the issue of a visitor applying for study permit. I am about attending a short term program in Canada, but not known which program to apply after the program. upon graduation from the short term program,can i now apply for a study permit within canada after being admitted in a College of my choice? Please someone should help me because i don't want to spend money and pay fees when the answer may be negative.

The short program has to be a prerequisite to the college program if you want to apply for a study permit within Canada. If you are just taking any short program that's in no way connected to the college program, then you must apply for a study permit from outside of Canada.
