inquiry with regards the visa processing

Hi. . I'm new here and I'm currently working here in Singapore. I just want to know some things with regards to my application in Canada. Actually i have agency base in Canada and they are the one who pass and apply my visa to Canada and according to them all my documents was submitted to CIC and currently waiting for my visa to approve. They pass my documents last May 20, 2017. How long it will take to process the visa and from who or who will inform me that my visa is approve. Is the agency or straightly from the email of CIC?

The posted processing time for work permits out of Singapore is 15 weeks. However this is just an estimate.
