Accept my greetings. I live in Cameroon. I have a pertinent issues disturbing me with regards to migrating to Canada under the family class. My wife is my sponsor and she lives in Canada. The Canadian embassy sent me an e- mail a year ago to send my passport for PR visa but unfortunately I can't explain what happened I did not received this mail. It was last month in April 2017 my wife wrote Dakar to find out about the status of my application before we discovered they requested my passport since last year WC is 11 months ago. Dear sir can I still send my passport to the Canadian embassy for the PR visa to be affixedexplaining to them what happened? I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards

First, check the status of your application on MYCIC http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/account.asp
In most likelihood, the application would already be rejected and closed. In that case, you may have to start all over again.

I would suggest that your wife contact her local MP's office in Canada and raise a request to CIC to find the current status and the possibility of renewing the application.

Pitt1234 it checked my online status. On the sponsor's section is written decision made. On my section is written In process.

They have not made a decision on your case yet. I would send a case specific email regarding the issue and explain to them that you never received your passport request, but are now aware and able to comply. Mark it urgent and they should get back to you.

Thanks. I already did two weeks ago. Yesterday they sent me a mail asking me for new medicals. I am lucky.
