Inquiry on re-entry visa

Dear Forumers,

I would like to know how many years the (average) validity of TRV the visa officer (CPP-O) issues, and how long is the processing. Is it advisable to apply for multiple rather than single entry visa? Just making some inquiry, hoping to go for vacation to the Philippines next year.

1. Shouldn't be longer than your valid study or work permit.
2. Apply for a multiple entry.
