Hi All,

I'm presently studying a one year program in Toronto. I have been having trouble finding a job offer because I will be eligible for a 1 year PGWP upon completion of my program. I have been told that enrolling into another one year program may make me eligible for a 2 year work permit.

Can someone please advise and confirm the same? I have read the rules for applying for a PGWP on the CIC website but nowhere has it been mentioned that studying 2 different programs for 2 years will make an international student eligible for a 2 year to 3 year PGWP.

Thanks!

IMHO, doesn't matter how may 1 year courses you pile on top of another, you will only get a 1 year PGWP.
