Greetings everybody,
I am supposed to be withdrawn in today's draw (3 Apr 19).
I applied as "Divorced", knowing that I have a final court order issued for divorce.
Me and my ex-wife were on good terms and wanted to end our marriage peacefully, but due to specific complicated laws for divorce of minority religions in my country, the only way to get divorce, was for her to file a case against me. the court order is issued stating that I lost the case and that she was granted "forced divorced by court".
the court order will take approximately 4 weeks to be implemented in order to obtain a divorce certificate. (may be more, there is a lot of bureaucracy in the process).
So here is my inquiry:
1) If I translate and provide this court order, will this adversely affect me in any way? I mean do they care or take into consideration the reason for divorce?
2) Is the court order sufficient or I must in all circumstances provide a divorce certificate?
3) After how much time after ITA do they ask for proof of divorce? and do they offer a grace period to submit such proof?
Please, if anybody has any experience with any of my questions, I will really appreciate your help.
I am kind of in a rush in order to hopefully be granted PR status before winter and trying to avoid any delays.
Thanks.
