How long does it take for the PR card to be released after when you apply for it?
im not sure but somebody told me it'd take me at least 3 months?

1. "landing" first card 35 business days.
2. Renewal 81 days

another question, when am I legible to send an sponsorship for my Girlfriend who's outside Canada. We are under LC2 BTW.

You can' t sponsor your girlfriend unless you have lived in a Common/law relationship for a year or are married. If you meet that criteria you could apply the day after you "land" . The only problem is that if you were common/law or married and didn't declare her, you could never sponsor her as a member of the family class.

I see. I dont have a plan of not declaring her as my common law or wife since we are not living in or married yet. Since we are under LC2 I was thinking of finishing the LC2 application for our family (LC1 applicant is my mother) and wait until we "land" and get back here in the Philippines as I have to finish my Med school and looking forward to marry my girlfriend. I'm not sure though if this is a conflict-proof idea.

I think wala problem being in a relationship as gf/bf as long as wag kyo mag secret marriage or live in as common law. It's ok. And as long as dependent k sa mother mo being a student until you get your visa.
