Hi everyone,
I am currently employed full-time for a company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, and I work remotely. I intend to apply for the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) but I currently reside in Quebec.
My question is: Would living in Quebec while working remotely for a BC-based company affect my eligibility for the BC PNP? If so, how can I best demonstrate my intention to move to and settle in BC once I receive permanent residency through the BC PNP?
Is it possible for me to remain in Quebec while my BC PNP application is being processed, and only move to BC after my nomination and permanent residency application are approved to ensure a smooth transition while continuing my remote work for the BC company?
I appreciate your guidance on this matter and any advice you may have to help ensure my application meets the program’s requirements.
