After I graduated I applied for a PGWP (post graduate work permit) and I was eligible for a three years work permit since my program was a 2 years program. But since my passport expires the 30th of march 2015, they gave me just a 22 months work permit. I checked online and I found out that I can apply for the rest of the three years after I get a new passport.
I renewed my passport and applied again by sending an application to the case processing centre in Vegerville, AL. 40 days ago. Since then I haven't heard anything back from them and my actual work permit expires by the end of this month.
I really don't know what to do, what if my permit expires before they send me a new work permit ..
Could you please help with me with any information concerning my case.
