Hi Every Body
I am seeking advice to sponsor by spouse. The situation is given as under
I am PR of Canada and already in Canada but doing my studies
My Spouse on study permit in Canada but her study permit expired in Oct 2014 and not earning degree from here, so not eligible for post graduate work permit.
We got married last year and expecting baby soon.
I am looking to sponsor her for by inland application.
Now my concern is how i will extend her Visa, after going through post some people suggest me to apply for open work permit but she hold study permit now.
Can some one guide me in this regard.
So my Question is how i will extend her stay by open work permit with Sponsorship application or apply for study permit extention.
Any suggestion highly appreciated.

in order to get an extension for her study permit she needs to pay the school again. if she wants a work permit, she could find an employer who could get the LMO for her. otherwise, if you do the inland application, she would be able to get a visitor visa to stay until you get approved as a sponsor and only form then she would be able to get a work permit. if you are expecting a baby, she wouldn't be able to work anyways, and it would be nearly impossible to find someone who could help her get the LMO

for you detail reply. yes i agree with you that Visitor visa is the best option.
Do you have any idea that when she will get open work permit issue, because some one told me that once my sponsorship application approved in principal which will take 10 month to process with in the Canada, than they will only issue the open work permit to her. So that too late, i have to go with visitor visa first, Any suggestion about open work permit time schedule

what you were told is true. an open work permit will not be approved/processed until AFTER stage 1 approval, so that time is an estimated 8-10 months.

Is that matters that i will go for her PR application now and go for visitor visa later before expiry of study permit. If these two application effect each other.

Yes, before her study permit expires you would just have to apply for change of status - extend as a visitor, now you can just focus on sponsorship application :)
