Hi guys,
I'm sponsoring my partner to apply immigrating to Canada. Here are some concerns:
1. We are just married like one month ago, isn't it too fast to apply? But we have known each other for years and have been living together for several months.
2. Our wedding was pretty easy, as we don't really have any friends or family here in Canada, but the marriage ceremony was legal and recognized by the provincial government. Can it be a problem?
3. My spouse's status is visitor, as he is from America, he didn't need a visa to enter Canada. In this case, apart from his passport, what other identification documents should he submit?
4. As we are married, he is qualified to apply provincial health care plan now. Will ircc think joining the government health care is using the government aid? We heard that using government aid might cause the application denied.
5. My spouse has stayed in different countries in the past 10 years. Should he provide the police certificate from the country which he has stayed most since 18 years old only, or with police certificates from another 2 countries where he stayed for more than 6 months in the past 10 years?
6. Will ircc request entering & exiting history of the countries that my spouse has lived?
Many thanks for your time and help guys!
