Our case was complicated so we applied with the help of a representative
We did not hear anything from the representative until aug 28 when she let us know that my application has been returned
she told us that there has been no letter with my application stating why our application has retunred
i called in cic to check in with them they have no information either except for 1 thing they told us regarding the sign by ink on the schedule A background declaration

If your application was returned then it was incomplete.

What exactly did they tell you about the signature on the background declaration? It sounds like this is what was wrong with your application.

If you plan to re-submit your inland sponsorship.....will advice that you review the checklist and guide to ensure your application is complete and re-submit ASAP.....if you plan to include OWP application with the Inland Sponsorship and the PA is on a visitor visa......you may need to review the PA visa expiration and if not expired, will advice that you apply for visitor visa extension to keep the PA in status while you work on re-submitting your sponsorship.

The Schedule A background declaration only had my name printed and dated it wasn’t signed
When I called the cic office it was then when I realized that it had to be signed in ink for which our representative did not guide us anything
I have some question if you’ll could help me
I can rectify the mistake for the schedule A background form by signing it I still am not aware about what other mistakes were
Do we have to fill the additional family information form in English as well as in our native language

Lose the representative and take ownership of this. If they didn't check something as basic as signatures they're not adding value.

Yes I agree with this ... We also made the same mistake, my husband even asked the person who helped us if he shud sign it and he said no ... But alas it was too late, we sent it back and got our AOR and now almost at the stage of getting the OWP, he has not called/messaged us to see what has happened with the application. My husband even e-mailed him, no response. Some if these losers just want the money and are gone once they get it. And this was not just any guy ... He's a lawyer and came highly recommended.

Yes but need to check the checklist / forms haven't been updated since you last submitted. If so start afresh with new forms. You need to resubmit everything, obvs.
True ... We took a risk, we just signed it and sent it back the same day, then freaked out about whether there was something else wrong ... We were only relieved when we got the AOR

Yes I am left with nothing but to loose the representative
My case is a little bit complicated
So I came to Canada as a student and then later I applied for my permanent resident application under the provincial nominee programme
My application was processed till medical request from cic but then I faced some problems and then I got married to my husband and we decided to withdraw that application and apply from the inland spousal sponsorship programme
At that time I was having my close work permit which is valid till 2019
Now from 2 months after I applied for my application under the sponsorship application I have been at home awaiting AOR
And my old application is already at the verge of withdrawal
Now if I have to fill in my new forms what am I supposed to show for the time frame of these months that I was at home
What status am I supposed to type in the blanks
I worked with my employer from where I filled my pr till April 2018 and then I moved with my husband in May and we got married
What status do I have for right now
Can anyone help

Also when I decided to move with my husband I had applied for my police certificate from my home country that is India in April
The police clearance is valid only for 6 months as I have heard
Now if file for my application again in September will that be good enough for me to go ahead with

I believe yes, as long as you submit it before the 6 months is up.

You are still under your work permit status, so that's not a problem, I would think. But you should probably write an explanation letter, to explain your circumstance. Also if you applied in April, your package would've returned in May, same timeline as mine, why have you waited this long. You'll most probably start the paperwork all over, I remember people mentioning a few forms were different since May. Also don't forget the full $255 for OWP, lots of ppl have made that mistake as well. Good luck :)

Thank you so much for your help
But I have applied on June 25th not in April
I moved with my husband in April that’s when we decided to withdraw my older application and apply in the family sponsorship category
My concern right now is what should we mention In the forms what status my current status in the country as
And also in the Schedule A background in the personal history part
What should we write under what I did for these 2 months after my file came return on the aug 28
I moved in April but until beginning June I was on holiday after that I let my employer know that I am quiting job and not coming back
So we applied on June 25 and waited till 28 aug till our file came back and we were not aware
So from June to aug what should I mention in the forms

You can mention unemployed (looking for a job) since you moved I am sure it is understandable that you couldn't maintain the same job. Also when u resend your application send a covet letter. Mention that u had previously sent in the app on June 25th and it was returned, so you've fixed the mistake and have resubmitted. On your application did you indicate that you used a representative? If so also mention that the application was returned to our representative and we only received it on Aug 28th. Because from what I see if you submitted originally on Jun 25th, you should've gotten it back by the end of July rather than end of august.
