Here's my situation.
I am a Canadian citizen by descent (born outside of Canada). I want to sponsor my wife and kids to come to Canada. My children are not Canadian citizens, because they are second generation born abroad.
I have opportunities set up to move to Canada in 2019. Having done some reading on this, I think we will go with an inland sponsorship. I just have a few questions.
1) My family can come with ETAs under the visa waiver program. When we enter Canada, what do we say to the border officials? Do we just explain the whole situation and promise that they won't overstay their welcome? Or do we just say they're visiting (which is true, just not the whole story)?
2) Is there any problem with including children on an inland application?
