Hi, I’m a German national current being sponsored by my wife in Ontario. There are some minor issues in our application.
First of all my last name contains the character: ‘ö’ which is internationally recognized as ‘oe’. (‘ö‘ is also in my passport, but the machine readable text at the bottom translates it to oe)
In all of the forms, except for one I used the special character when explicitly being asked to write exactly how it’s written in my passport.
My background declaration also doesn’t fully match to what exactly happened, because I had a lot of part-time jobs and side hustles in the last 10 years that I simply cannot recall. So is 1 address that I probably mixed up.
Should I expect a PFL or at least a return of our application during processing?
Also since I’m an early October applicant, my AOR hasn’t come in yet. My status will end on Dec 1st. Given the circumstances, should we wait for an AOR and if it doesn’t come in by mid Nov, extend my stay as a visitor, or still apply for an SOWP without AOR?
