I recently got out of status on my work permit (may 31st) while i was an applicant for EE that was refused due to expired medicals (covid times). So I'm about to submit a spousal sponsorship app, restoration of status (90 days elapses August 31st 2020) and OWP through my husband (new weds) as he is a PR holder.
We lived together in the past from june 2017 to june 2018, got a new apartment together july 2018 after living there for a month we decided to move out as our relationship fell off there by ending our common law relationship. Later in 2018 (November) we decided to give our relationship another try (not as common law), we lived in nearby cities but not together. In february 2019 he then applied for his PR through EE (CEC) and landed January 2020 declaring his relationship status as single.
My concern is that I hope this wouldn't be perceived as misrepresentation on his path because we were once lived together in the past for about 13months?
Can anyone kindly advise if we are in the clear or is there any additional information or document we need to buttress our situation while we submit the application?
I'll really appreciate a prompt response as we plan on sending our application later this week.
