Dear friends
I have a serious query here. I entered Canada on 3 March 2018 on a visitor visa. During the time of entering the border, my assumption was that the visa was valid for 6 months. However, while I was looking to apply for a visa extension on 25 July 2018, I realized that the visa officer had written 31 March 2018 on the passport stamp.
In the meantime, I got married to my fiance who is a PR holder and applied for inland spousal sponsorship (PR - paper application) and open work permit (OWP - online application). However, the PR application was returned stating a few errors and we resubmitted it. There has been no response from the CIC after resubmitting the application.
Currently, I have no idea whether to wait until I hear from the CIC or leave the country immediately. Please advise on this.
Thank you
