Inland spousal PR

I am currently on visitor visa extension I will be shortly applying for spousal PR and work permit .My question is-

How much time it takes for approval and work permit ?

Can I travel outside Canada and reenter while my PR application is in process?

How much time it takes for approval and work permit ?

Inland spousal sponsorship approval will typically take 12 months. OWP approval maybe 4 - 5 months.

Can I travel outside Canada and reenter while my PR application is in process?

You are expected to remain in Canada for the duration of the process. The odd SHORT trip (say 2 - 3 weeks) outside Canada will probably be OK, anything much longer or more frequent and CIC could consider that you have abandoned your sponsorship and cancel your application. Unlike outland sponsorship, there is no right of appeal for inland.​
