Inland Spousal: How to prove status in Canada (US Citizen)?

I'm here as a visitor right now and I was wondering if a passport stamp is enough to approve my status when they ask for that separately? And if it's not, how do provide proof? Should I write a statement? Thanks all (looked for this question previously but the answers were several years ago and I was afraid they might be out of date).

A passport stamp from your last entry should be sufficient. Provide a letter of explanation as well, just to cover the bases.
