Inland sponsorship and my wife lives and work in other location

I’m PR and i want to sponsor my wife, she’s under closed work permit ( specific employer ) and works and live in another province than mine,

can i sponsor her for PR or she must live with me at the same address in order to be eligible to sponsor her ?

You can submit an Outland application, even though you are both IN Canada.

The only real advantage in submitting an Inland application (usually) is that once an applicant receives the AOR email (Acknowledgement of Receipt), they are eligible for an Open Work Permit. Your wife doesn't need one.

Sponsor her via the "outland" sponsorship. Since inland requires her to be living with you inside Canada.
Major difference between the 2 is that with outland, she cannot apply for OWP after AOR of the sponsor application but there is such option for inland.

If she has a closed work permit for a period of time (like 1 year), then she likely do not need the OWP.

As already indicated you can only apply for outland sponsorship. If you are not living together in Canada it also becomes harder to prove that you are in a genuine relationship. Have you lived together for other periods of time? Is there a reason you are not able to live in the same city? Do you have proof of regular in person meetings?
