I sent the application on October 17.15 - it has been 3 months and I still don't have anything from CIC. I know it takes approximately 25 months for processing, but I haven't even received anything - not even a letter to confirm receipt of application. I have a receipt from Canada Post and I can check online that it HAS been delivered (as of October 17.15) so I know that it got to the processing office.. but again, I haven't received confirmation of receipt or anything saying "yes we have your package, will process application soon.. blah blah blah".. I know processing takes long, but should a receipt letter take over 90 days as well????

The AOR is usually sent via email. Have you checked your spam?

I check my emails daily and there is nothing from CIC.
I actually called CIC and got a not so pleasant rep who spoke to me like I was 3 years old.. and told me that currently they are opening packages received August/September.. I sent mine in October. So any day now I guess (fingers crossed)... but my concern is that I know people who have dealt with CIC on similar cases/applications and they never had to wait this long.
