Inland Sponsor PR applying for study permit extension

Hi there,

I am an inland sponsor PR applicant (still in progress - sponsor received AOR). My study permit expires soon and i want to extend my study permit by enrolling in new course - Healthcare assistant.

My question is: while i have PR application in progress, is it safe to apply for a study permit application ? since it counts as dual intent. Is this a risky move. I am genuinely seeking help, i already paid the deposit for a new course, received LOA.

Do you have PAL? It appears that you attended Dalhousie does this new program make sense based on your previous education and work experience?

If her study permit expires soon, wouldn't it make more sense to apply for OWP since the sponsorship application has AOR?

It will take time to get all her documents to apply for a new study permit/extension. If she doesn't even have PAL.
