Inland pr processing while travelling outside of Canada

i am Sept 2020 inland ee pnp applicant, and medical and eligibility have been passed since last year.
I am planning to get the second dose of vaccine and travel outside Canada for 2months.
I have work permit valid until Dec 2021.

i’ve been reading forum lately, and found out inlanders get unknown call from IRCC or email to confirm that people are still remaining in Canada.

i’ve wondering what could possible happen if i miss the call or don’t update this new travel information to IRCC?

ps. I didn’t claim job offer point and I have friends who can mail pr card to the country I will be.

You will need to update your file to indicate you are not in Canada. IRCC calls to verify that you are in Canada because you must be in Canada to do a virtual landing.

I saw a few people who missed their calls, but got e-copr. So i was curious about this issue!!
